MAY 2017

If you want to save any of these photos easier, or see more of them, click on this line to see and save them yourself!

In looking at our May photos, most of them are mission related either from our Arizona missionaries or our MTC missionaries.  (There are a lot more through the link)
We did things with family, but do  not often get photos of these times.
Early May I was able to go up to Draper temple to the sealing of Kaitlyn Tolley, one of our sweet RMs.  I met one of her friends who drove up from Flagstaff where she served in the YSA ward.

Provo Temple has beautiful pink rose bushes that come on in May.  We wanted a photo of all the Sisters in our branch.  All the young ones are going to Italy, and us older ones are Presidency wives.
We are only missing a new couple, the Johnsons, who were added to our branch making 3 counselors.

I held two pre-kindergarten graduations this month, one for my AM class and one for my PM class.
I miss these kiddos.  It was a really good year at school!

AM class.

PM class.

Henry with his treats afterwards.  I taught him two years in a row!!  I will really really miss him!

Lori hosted a LOVELY bridal shower for Breanna at her home in Riverton.  There were great support from friends and family and it was just a fun afternoon together!

Bre with work friends and Elliots Mom and sister.

I missed getting Jennifer in my photo...sorry!

Lori, Ella, Michelle, Carole,  LeAnn and Carolyn.

McKenna and I.

The bundt cakes that Michelle made were to die for!!

Chicken salad sandwiches and veggies and drinks...yum!

The details were so sweet.  This area was made into a photo area highlighting Breanna and Elliot with KISSES to share!

And the favor was tiny jars of Nutella

The beautiful bride to be with Aunt Lori the hostess with the mostess.

And some other Taylor ladies.
May was WEDDING INVITATION CENTRAL!  We first focused on getting Braden and McKenna's all done and out, and then turned our attention to Breanna's.
The funny thing is that here are Braden and McKenna working one night on Bre and Elliot's pile of invites!

IT WAS A PARTY!
We just LOVED that Austin was our designer and have gotten SO MANY compliments on his great, personal designs!!

I got to take Braden up to his Bridal/Groomal photos up at Draper temple one Tuesday night.  This is me with McKenna's Mom, Tracie.
We had so much fun being there with them!  And they are just beautiful together!!

We are excited for Breanna's bridals on June 24!!

Speaking of beautiful...we got to celebrate the beautiful life of my Mom on Memorial Day weekend.
We love the tradition of cleaning up her grave, having a memorial and bringing flowers to decorate it.  This year we all brought fresh garden flowers...very fitting as she is the one that taught us to love gardening and to know the flowers.

I believe here Nathan is reading the names as Grandpa James shows the boys his children's names.

And a group shot by a fellow patron.
We then celebrated with a pizza lunch at Pizza Pie Cafe.  Yum!

These photos almost look fake they are so beautiful...but Scott is a good photographer and was blessed to get to go to Tucson for the Open House for the new temple there.  It is a first with the dome style top, but fits in well with other buildings in that area.

He flew in through Phoenix and got to see our temple there as well...just as beautiful as ever, and with more flowers than I remember.

He got to visit with the Griffins, our replacements in Phoenix who are now finishing up themselves!  Seems hard to believe that three years are almost here!

I will finish May with a few Mother's Day photos.  Here is our cute Laura with her kiddos!

Here is a throw-back to when Jenna was a little girl.  She found this in her scrapbook.

And then she re-created something similar for her older boys to do for me.  Very fun!

I love being a Mom.  Scott loves being a Dad.  It is seriously being part of a miracle to be able to have a family and be a part of their growth and becoming.  To encourage and develop the characteristics that form successful and happy children.

I love being a Grandma.  Scott loves being a Grandpa.  It is the next best thing to being a Mom and Dad.  We live for the relationships in our lives and are so thankful for each one of you and how you are a sweet part of our lives!

We are blessed to have had the parents that we both had as well.  They are truly great people who lived and live what they believe and who have made a great difference for good in the world!  THANKS!!
