JULY and AUGUST 2018

This is how July started...with all of us together.

We LOVED being with all of you...made our year!!

We started our REUNION by going to the July 4th parade!
Then, we met at Dad's house to do some SERVICE in his backyard making a larger patio for the gliders and building a new glider.

We had our traditional JENNIFER'S BIRTHDAY BBQ in our backyard!
Many of us went to the Hill AFB Museum to tour the place.
I sent the kids on a SCAVENGER HUNT looking for certain planes and such...
They had so much fun! And when they completed, they got to choose a model airplane from the gift shop!
Next we met in the FAMILY HISTORY CENTER in Slat Lake and all explored our ancestry in a series of games and activities.
It seemed like everyone had a good time!

We had a PICTURE SHOW and OLD SONG NIGHT in Dad's backyard!  Very fun!

We had a lot of fun at TIMP CAVE!  Hot hike up but cool inside the cave!
The Hike Crew!

Inside the cave!

One night we all went to the DRAPER RODEO and that again was so much fun!

We had an early morning BIRD WATCHING outing with Amanda's Mission President, Ned Hill out by Utah Lake that also was great!

We hosted a REUNION PICNIC inviting extended family members to celebrate Dad's 90th Birthday with us!
Great to have COUSINS show up!
And more nephews like Jordan and his girlfriend Claire.
The boys playing SPIKEBALL!
Dad sharing some stories with all his guests.

I had a GIFT GAME that everyone was really excited about!  Prizes for ALL!

I hired one of my friends to come take photos of our family!

Austin, Laura, Evan, Mackenzie and Brooklyn
Vicky, Lucas and Nic, LeAnn, Mike, Cody and Tanner

Susan and all her crew
 Jon, Jenny, Nathan and Daniel

Clair with Josh and Rachel

We had a WONDERFUL REUNION!
We are looking forward to next time we can get together.

Jennifer humored me by running the July Temple to Temple run...I am SO SLOW, but we did our 5K in around 31 minutes.

We saw some friends at the start of the race.

And here we are all sweaty at the end!

Here is the progress of our house.
Piles of wood...and a foundation and basement.

Chose a living room rug.

Took the kids over to walk through the house in the basement.

And on July 30 we were excited that baby CASSIDY JENSEN entered the world!

Sweet little girl!

Had to add to my birthday calendar!

Here is the cute Jensen Family

Klay struggled to figure out where he fit in with a new baby...
The first morning I was there he came down and asked Jenna "Can you just drop the baby?"
In other words, he wanted her sole attention!

Jenna and her new look alike!

Cassidy's Dr visit...she was gaining well.

And Grandma Taylor with Cassidy looking at her.

Cute little thinker.

Tried to spend a lot of time with the boys...
PIE IN THE FACE!

Here is Bennett playing!

And Carter with a good hit to the nose!

We went to several of Carter's basketball games while we were there.
He didn't want lots of photos!

They won 22 to 20 in overtime this game!

And in a camp he was in, he won MOST FREE THROWS and won this basketball!

One of Cassidy's bath times!

Scott went on a Sunday walk with us to a pond to throw rocks.

For FHE, we made sock puppets and the boys made up their own play about obeying Mom.

Pretty cute puppets~~and pretty cute kiddos!

Bennett and Klay making monkey faces.

And putting themselves into movies.

Grandma Jensen holding baby Cassidy.

Bennett's school teacher came to visit us to meet the baby.  So nice!!

And Klay is warming up to Cassidy...see how she is focusing on his face?

I took Klay to a splash park and he was SO EXCITED...I had to really watch him running all over the place!

And we stopped at a outlet mall and let the boys have one ride!

Cassidy in her cute elephant towel!

I couldn't resist this shot in Church watching Carter hold the baby during Sacrament meeting.

We gave CARTER AND BENNETT their birthday gifts early so we could see them.

Carter LOVED his new camera!
Bennett LOVED his new gemstone set and neckties...never seen a boy so thrilled to have new neckties!

And we loved all the rain we got when we returned home!  Beautiful!
