Scott got to go down to Goshen to see the film sets for the new BOOK OF MORMON films that they are working on over the next several years. I can't wait to start seeing these! Yes...they have camels there!
We had the chance to go to a wedding in the Manti Temple...reminded us of being there with LeAnn and Mike! It was beautiful and so old and traditional.
This is the Rome Mission President, Pres Pickerd and Sister Pickerd. She had to come back for breast cancer surgery so they came to the MTC to meet and interview their missionaries in our branch. The cool thing is that they are friends of ours from Phoenix...if you remember, we stayed with them in the Mission Home in Rome for a few days in March! We are praying for a speedy recovery for her!
Scott had two trips in a row taking him away from home for about 10 days total. I had a couple of Saturday hikes to do alone, so I chose a busy trail up to Y MOUNTAIN. It is a very good workout! I was sweaty each time but enjoyed it!
Braden and McKenna did a good job at checking in on me while he was gone and came over for a PIZZA NIGHT and we made 3 lovely, and tasty pizzas!!
Our month was FULL of either sealings to attend or receptions of some sort...

Here is the view of the BOY SCOUT CAMP in West Virginia that Scott went to on his first trip. It was huge! He enjoyed his time there and met a lot of great people including an old friend, Elder Holland!
Meanwhile, Jennifer and I kept up the family tradition of doing the TEMPLE TO TEMPLE run on July 24. I took a shuttle up to the temple which was running about 30 minutes behind so we had a late start, but worked our way through all the strollers and walkers to complete the race in good time.

Scott was on his second trip the next day and was able to see another race...with the Jensen boys in Marlboro NJ. They do kiddie races at the Battleground there and even Klay did his first race and was so proud!! Look at that stance!!

Scott took the kids to a new Museum near New York City that they really enjoyed. Our Thanksgiving Point passes give us reciprocal privileges at many of the museums and gardens when we travel!
