JULY 2019

PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINE TO SEE ALL THE PHOTOS FROM THIS MONTH THROUGH MY GOOGLE PHOTOS

July we spent a lot of time away from home.

We started the month with a trip up to Seattle area to help out with new baby CLARA.
This is the incredible view of Mt Rainier from the flight.

We were greeted from our flight by 3 cute kiddos!
Mackenzie, Evan and Brooklyn.

We spent July 4 with them and had all matchey clothes that day!

And got this photo from Jenna with her crew in the East!
Klay, Carter, Cassidy and Bennett.

We spent a lot of time at the playground with kids.  Lots of walks to get them out of the house.

We took them to a Children's Museum in nearby Bellevue and had a lot of fun with them there.
We love our reciprocal passes from having a Thanksgiving Point membership in Utah.

Large train area at museum.

Story nook at museum.

Austin surprised Scott with tickets to go to the Paul McCartney concert up in Vancouver Canada
They had a great time at the concert.

I got to stay longer and help get Brooklyn to soccer camp each day.  She is getting so grown up!

Austin and I took Brooklyn and Evan to an activity at a local library where they explored designing and building their own space station on paper, in a small model and then a large model.

Very fun and creative projects!

When we got back to Provo, we had time for Scott to put in our outdoor lighting which turned out so pretty.

We also had a night where we went to the Jordan River Temple with Carole and Lori, Aaron and Michelle to do work for Scott's grandpa Wally to be sealed to his parents.  It was truly special to be there together.

Cousin Lisa Oman sent me this from Mark and David who had been up to Park Valley and said how beautiful and green it is up there this year!

I had to hustle to put together and quilt baby Clara's baby quilt before going back up to Washington.

I did machine quilting on this quilt after learning to do it on Braden's tee shirt quilt this summer.

And I made her name banner to match.
All the fabrics and accessories were ROSES in honor of CLARA ROSE!

All these cute cousins came to visit me one day.  I taught 3 of them already, 1 more is coming to school this year and two more the year after that.

Jennifer humored me again by running the July 24 Temple to Temple 5K.
It was a muggy day and we were so sweaty when we were done but did a decent time, shaving off a minute or two from last year.  Fun tradition for us.

Scott and I then packed up the car and got Braden and McKenna packed up with us to drive up to Washington for our family reunion.

We stopped in Twin Falls Idaho on the way up to see that temple and it was so pretty...cool shot with the sun behind it here.

And we got the Columbia River Temple the next morning as we drove into Washington.

We had a day to prep all the family getting together.
Friday we welcomed the Jensen Family at the airport and then drove over to the Museum of Flight nearby where we had a picnic lunch before going inside.

All the adults waiting for the kids in the control tower there. I thought it was funny how they were all just sitting there.

Some of the grandkids posing with lifelike figures at the museum.

McKenna with cute baby Clara!

CAR SHOW!  Since the real one got rained out, we had our own with matchbox cars Austin got for everyone!

Then some of us went to a Mariner's Game in Seattle.

All these grandkids are so good together and such good friends!

Sunday when Clara was blessed, I invited Lisa to come and she brought her husband and 3 of their sons.  It was really nice to connect again!

Our family with the Self Family at Clara's blessing.

Nap time for Breanna, Elliot and Clara!

We went to Snoqualmie Falls for an afternoon outing and it was really beautiful!

We asked a random stranger to take our photo with Laura's camera and it turned out pretty good!

Monday we did downtown Seattle with the Space Needle...

Scott and Austin and I took all the older kids to Pacific Science Center and that was an adventure!

They are really good kids and it was a lot of fun!

Part of the Center had a Butterfly Exhibit...

And the butterflies were friendly!

Yes, really friendly!
Shooting water cannons outside the Center.

Taking the Monorail to the Pikes Place Market area.

Traditional Market in Seattle downtown.

Cassidy turned 1 on Tuesday that week and we celebrated by taking everyone to the ZOO!
Penguins were first and who doesn't love watching them swim and play??!!

Cute boy cousins...

And all but baby Clara cousins.

On the carousel...

Trip to Microsoft on Wednesday.

Lots of fun games for the kids there.

And DINOSAUR BRADEN says good bye to all the kids!

Cassidy is so grown up...playing with baby dolls already!

We had a wonderful time together with our family and Austin and Laura were wonderful and patient hosts!
