MARCH went super fast! We were really busy all month...doing all sorts of interesting things!
Scott found this puppet on one of our walks out by the lake. HELLO TIGER!
We saw the funniest show-off Sandhill Crane on this walk...the male was jumping up and down tossing clods of grassy mud into the air to impress the ladies...and she just walked on by!
Cute little Brown Creeper
The Pelicans are returning to the area slowly but surely
We saw a cute little Sagebrush Sparrow on a trail this month that was a new bird for us
And, we had a cute little visitor to our front door again...the House Finches like my Forsythia wreath and always come check it out as potential nesting material
And, we have our little front porch friend back again this year. This little Say's Phoebe sleeps up on our porch each night and then wakes up and sings early each morning...hence the nickname "Rooster"
We had a new backyard visitor for just a little while one day. A flock of Cedar Waxwings showed up in our crabapple tree.
So pretty!
I took my Pre-K classes to a farm to visit the animals there and it was a good time
We got our VACCINATIONS this month too! First me...
...and then Scott!!! The silly, dramatic one!
And of course, we had to share it with our kids!
We had three baptisms in our YSA Ward this month.
It was fun to be involved in this again.
And we celebrated GRANPA JAMES 93 BIRTHDAY this month!
It was so fun to all get to come over to see him and Carolyn at a really fun Open House.
Lucas with Grandpa and Scott.
Baby Timothy with Grandma LeAnn.
Timothy with Grandpa James...such a cutie
Mike and Scott showing off the display of TREATS!
Carolyn, Jon, Grandpa, Nathan and Daniel looking over the PUZZLE DISPLAY!
HAPPY 93rd BIRTHDAY DAD!
We had the most BEAUTIFUL, vibrant rainbow this month!
Scott and I were asked to speak up at the University of Utah Institute.
We thought it was funny that they chose the photo of Scott wearing his BYU jacket in Paris.
Our RM, Lise Bennett was responsible for referring us and it was so good to see her again!
We also met a young man who was in our Branch in the MTC headed to Germany. Very cool to hook up with him again as well.
We had a fun visit with 2 of our RM's Conner and Sarah who are getting married in April. We sort of love that they met at one of our BBQ's
In our YSA we were able to have a fireside with our friends Cindy and Buddy Richards. They talked to us about the history of the Provo City Center Temple which used to be our tabernacle. They will serve as the next Temple President and Matron starting in August. It was awesome!
We had Susan come the last of March during her spring break so she could see Dad and all of us.
Amanda and Jimmy met us here too. Jimmy had just purchased a new vehicle for Susan so we got him working on one for us. Ha! We worked him! (This was our first day of looking, a nice Sienna van which we liked except it was really scratched up and the front bumper was messed up)
Success will be reported in April 2021!
