Our best New Years Gift was having Austin, Laura and Brooklyn fly in on New Years Eve!
Someone came with a "candy can" as she calls them!
And thanks to Skype, she was fine with coming right to Grandma and Grandpa!
We decided that for Brooklyn, she may understand the concept of a birthday better than a New Year, so we made Happy Birthday to the world crowns that night and took photos.
Then we opened some Christmas gifts to each other.
Brooklyn loved the crayons from our neighbor Dana! Stacking them was as much fun as coloring with them!
Opening books from Auntie Bre was a lot of fun too!
And then there was the cutest puppy from Auntie Bre that was carried around...and the light up puppy bone from the cat show was just perfect to go along with that little doggie!
So, HAPPY NEW YEAR! May this year bring many more opportunities for us to interact as a family. Truly, this is what brings us the greatest joy of all!
